Basic Duties and Responsibilities:
  • • Ensure the safety of guests, employees, and client company assets through constant patrol and observation of all assigned areas
  • • Reporting unusual activities in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures
  • • Promote positive and courteous public relations to all tenants, visitors, and guests as specified by the standard operating procedures developed for each client
  • • Monitor and maintain control of facility access points, permitted areas of entry, and respond to sounding alarms thereby ensuring the safety of client employees, guests, and company assets
  • • Monitor visitor activities as specified by the standard operating procedures developed for each client
  • • Gain and maintain proficiency with life safety systems and the central security panel of client building and grounds
  • • Prepare reports based upon the observations, information, and occurrences to ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures
  • • Communicate with supervisor and/or manager on safety issues
  • • Tour client properties and monitor client building operations
  • • Maintain daily logs and shift reports
  • • Adhere to the Secure1One Security Policies and Procedures Manual
  • • Execute all other duties as assigned
Basic Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • • Intermediate level skills in MICROSOFT OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • • Thorough knowledge of all emergency equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, fire pumps, access systems, water risers, cutoff valves, and electrical circuits
  • • Advanced client relationship and service skills to tactfully communicate with client and/or client representatives
  • • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or day shifts as required by the client
  • • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently with excellent attention to detail
  • • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills, and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients
  • • Ability to work independently, to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction as energetic self-starter
  • • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
  • • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
Education and Experience:
  • • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • • 2+ years of related experience (preferred)
  • • Prior experience in law enforcement, military and/or security (preferred)
  • • Ability to obtain a Non-Commission license
Other Qualifications:
  • • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • • Employee must have reliable transportation to and from work each day

In addition to the basic requirements listed above, the armed security must have current Commission License
